| Screened asphalt millings? Guy shows up and has this stuff for $.50 a sq foot. Good idea or bad? We have a very good gravel base, been there for over 20 years. Tractor trailers come through 10-20 times a year. Will roller it, seal it. Sounds awful good to be true. Capital Paving is the company. Thoughts??? Thanks!

| Asphalt millings is an awesome and affordable material for driveways, especially high traffic areas because it doesnt' spread out and dug into the dirt like gravel does but rather compact more and more with more use. That he will roll it and seal it is sweeeeet!. "Screened" is important because regular recycled asphalt can still be chunky which makes for a chunky surface. |

| Don't know about the per sq. foot, usually is per ton or truck load as another poster mentioned. We've used it on our parking lot (spread and rolled) with good results.

| Its all I use any more. I had AB&H come in and lay down about 6-10" of it to make driveway/parking area improvements and its held up well to heavy traffic including trucks. They did vibra-roll it very thoroughly when it first went down though...a pretty big machine that was too.

| That's what we did, had them lay it with a paving machine and the roll it just like hot asphalt, only we use TP.......... better than chipstone |

| I used it for my side area (park at 35 1/2ft camper on it), and it holds up better than I thought it would (dirt base). I had planned on them coming back this year and adding another layer and adding more area. So now I'll have a great foundation for it as well. But for the cost, I think it is worth every penny  |
