Valentine's Day

Do any married guys actually buy gifts for wives, mothers, sisters or daughters on Valentines Day? If so, what is popular?
Would you make a point of buying something that also benefits a breast cancer charity (yeah, I know I'll get some jokes) because it matters to HER?

after the Red Robin tread, I am just dying to see how this one turns out.

Also, I don't like Valentine's Day... Never have.

I no longer have anyone that I 'celebrate' Valentine's Day with, but when I did, it was simple things that made her smile. No big gifts, no getting crazy over it.

If she had asked me to donate to a worthy cause instead and we had talked about it before hand, I would have. Again, very low key.

My husband and I exchange gifts and make a night out of it at home. He usually gets flowers. Last year he got a rose that was rainbow colored. And he usually splurges on something nice for dinner. Last year we had fondue and wine. And I get him a gift. Last year he got a Wagyu Dry-Aged Ribeye Steak.

We've kinda fine tuned our Valentine's day into an evening that's all about us. I know we're supposed to be like that all year long but life doesn't seem to work out that way for us all the time and Valentine's day gives us the excuse to tune everything else out and focus on how awesome we are together.

I like stargazer lilies.

Call me selfish and back to the OP.

I don't buy my family anything for Valentines Day.

It's a day for your SO, and I see it as a female day.

The man buys the woman flowers and she feels loved.

JMO.

I won't even get into forgetting birthdays.
