PSA: VERIZON - SCAM Fees

this info was just forwarded to me from my Dad. He'd been reviewing his cell phone bill for a few months, asked me to take a look and we found these charges but couldnt find an explanation within the bill. Here is the latest...

""After questioning my phone bill with Verizon I found out I have been paying a fee that was CRAMED ( their term ) on my phone bill..There are companies that CRAM these fees on unsuspecting customers even though you don't owe them..One was for 14.95 and another for 8.64..I had a phone block put on my account to prevent anyone from attaching any kind of fee to my account without my authorization. Call your phone supplier and have them explain each and every fee/charge to you..It will save you money and as in my case a refund from previous months..You are most likely paying a fee that is CRAMED whether it land-line or cell, etc.. ""

Thanks for the information. My Husband noticed a few months ago, that Verison is also charging Customers for Obama Care", or something like that. I think it was something like $9.

I know what my bill is every month, when it is a different amount I will find the cause. Have only had a problem once, 2 $9.99 charges on a line. Called Verizon and after 15 minutes of hold, transfer, whats the issues, hold, transfer, whats the issue, I talked the right person and the charges had been removed.

I know every single charge on my TracFone. Never had a dispute.
