Are you frowning cause your agreeing with the statement or was this something on a more personal man note?

What is attractive to one female may not be attractive to another. It works the same for men too. I didn't make the rules. I can't help they way we (people) were put together.

Good way to describe it, I was calling it a squished head.

I understand. I try to believe that but when 99% of them are that one has personally dealt with, it's discouraging. You start to wonder if there are any decent ones left or if there ever were any decent men at all. Just consider me a bit Jaded!!

It actually comes down to exactly what has been said in this forum... Many of us truly are nice guys and true gentlemen, but because we aren't "hunks" we don't get the chance for others to get close enough to know the real us.

I'm sure that's very true of men looking at women, too. I know looks are important to me too, but it MUST be accompanied with intelligence and a good attitude. If a women is incredibly striking but the 'tude stinks, they don't even make it to a first date.

Oh, I'm not disagreeing with you at all. Here is my thing, you perhaps don't think your a "Hunk" but that doesn't mean your not. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Your statement of a striking woman applies with an attractive man as well. If he has some sort of attitude, I wouldn't go out with him again. However, sometimes you don't find out what kind of a person they are for awhile. They can be charming and sweet and all that and you think "Wow what a great guy or gal", and learn later, sometimes much later, they aren't that great. Even the "not so attractive" can be jerks too. I'm not sure why that is but I've dated a few who were "in the beginning" extremely sweet and couldn't do enough for you. Made you feel like "I've never been treated this well before" until...... a few months later, thinking you've found the guy or gal (maybe not the best looking but fairly cute)who has now turned on you like a German Shepard and has you tears (I'm not sure how men react). So, any way you look at it, attractive, not attractive, cute, mediocre, it doesn't matter, it's all gamble and your taking a chance with the ole heart.

Yeah right. If there was an ounce of truth to that, I'd have a list this long.
