I wasn't averse to older guys, but they had to have something going on: either good-looking, or intelligent or funny or something attractive. But then there'd be some guy my age who was just stupid and for some reason he'd think I should be interested in him.

I was always a dork magnet, anyway, because I tend to be nice to people and they think I really mean it.

Can I get a ... The point was even at that age looking a few years younger what in the hell was a 50something year old man hitting on me for? What was going through his head? Did he think I was going to jump on him right in the middle of the grocery store and tell him I'd been waiting for him? It's one thing if its someone you're familiar with through friends, work, whatever; its another when you come across as a dirty old bastard.

There's a lot of older guys dating way younger chicks in this area More than I've seen in any other area, if we're going to be honest. Example, a couple my parents used to live next to... she's my age (29), he's my parents age (49). Gross is what I think it is... there is no way in hell I would EVER consider dating anyone my parent's age... but it's accepted as the norm around here
