It's one thing if its someone you're familiar with through friends, work, whatever; its another when you come across as a dirty old bastard.

You glazed over that part. I don't take issue with it at all. Grown people can do whatever they want BUT it amazes me when an older person approaches a younger person in an abrupt manner. That's what gives me the heebie geebies. It's one thing if it's an older person that you're familiar with that knows you actually have a personality; it's another when they have no clue and are just acting like horn dogs.

IDK... I think anyone who's old enough to be my father hitting on me is a dirty old bastard. I see your point, though.

Good luck with that.

I think it's skeevy for anyone of any age to approach in an abrupt manner. You're supposed to feel out the situation first, see if there's any interest or any impediments (such as a SO) before you go for it.

What'd the grocery guy say to you?

You do have to remember men are not the only ones that date out of their age limits! So is it ok for women to date younger guys?

Kris HAVE YOU OR HAVE YOU NOT BRAGGED ABOUT DATING A YOUNGER GUY? Although he may not have been 20 years younger or so, I do think you have bragged about you taking the "Cougar" status.

That ####'s gross, too.

Plus you can't be a "cougar" until you're in your 40s. Some 22 yo dating a 19 yo isn't a cougar.

#1, never bragged about it. Called him the boy toy.
#2, there's nothing wrong with men or women dating someone who's older or younger than them... but 20 years, for me personally, is too big of a stretch. It's silly to think everyone is going to be the exact same age range, but I'll go 10 years up or 5 years down. That being said, before you can throw my words back in my face, the boy toy was 20 when I met him and I was 28. By the time it was done, he was 21 and I was 29.
#3, Puma's are women in their late 20's, early 30's who date younger men, not Cougars.
