I do as well.

I'm not going to take a man or woman's last name if I get married again.

Would I propose? Yes.

I would already know that the person involved didn't have an issue with names.

Well, this is the quote of the day!

My .02: I'm old fashioned and traditional - I think the man ought to propose.

I took my husband's name when I married, although I did take back my maiden name when I divorced. I WAS going to keep it for my son's sake and didn't get it changed by the court at the time I divorced. But it made me nauseous every time I wrote my name - every time. So I got it changed.

If I were to marry again, I would take my husband's name.

I'm glad I don't have to worry about this.... if by some chance, I'd end up single again... I am not getting married again. I say once in a lifetime is enough.

What about the nagging "Why aren't we married yet?"

Nobody's world is perfect. I just, personally, will not get married again if ever in that position to make that decision. It is a hard road getting used to living with somebody in the 1st place and it took my husband and I everything we had to get us where we are today... it was difficult and sometimes painful and I just don't think I'd have the energy or willingness to do that again.

And the answer is: because you're not woman enough to know how to get what you want from a man.
