Yeah it's much better if she accepts her fate as a victim and just dies quietly cowering in a corner knowing the cops can't help her and she's defenseless to stop the inevitable

She is unlikely to be a threat to the public at-large; more likely she will be a threat to her abuser. I have no problem with that.

my Wife dealt with an abusive ex for 2 yrs, after fleeing in the night ... she told the Judge in the court room, you had 2 yrs to straighten him out, I was a expert shot in the rifle team in high school, if he comes near me again, I am putting him down ... you had your chance

the Judge chastised her for her threat, but advised the EX he should quit stalking the plaintiff, and stay away from her ......

the police told her on the way out, if you do shoot him, wait 30 min before calling us, we do not want to have to revive him ...
