I have several female friends. Platonic friends. In general, the age gap is a barrier, because I'd do any one of them in a New York minute. That's all I'd need is a minute.

But I also understand that we couldn't be friends any more. And that's the trade-off I would have to weigh; do I value this person as a long-term friend, or am I willing to sacrifice that friendship? I'm pretty happy with, and highly prize my female friends.

Of course none of that factors in Mrs BOP and her skillet collection.

This is simply meant as an observation. What do your 'close' male friends like about you? Sense of humor? Intelligence? Good card player? Share a hobby or a sport?
If they like picking out curtains and go shopping with you, I'd accept it at face value; they don't wanna.

Past that, attractive qualities are...attractive. While they may not obsess about you and lose sleep over it, some form of sex with you has most likely crossed their minds, all of theirs, to some degree or other. That's normal and not a big deal. Depending on the manner and degree. The worst offenders are the ones who pretend most overtly to not be interested.

I do not intend to speak for every last heterosexual man on the planet but, in general, if women could be tapped into a typical man's brain for a few moments, y'all would just start shooting us down like rabid dogs in the street only stopping to reload or switch to a weapon with higher capacity and greater killing power.
