Hi Lexib,
I had to change to a Diabetic Diet about a month or so ago.
I found some great information/recipes on the following sites.
Diabetic Recipes and Gourmet Diabetic Cooking
Diabetic Recipes - Better Recipes

hope these help

If you're diabetic, your insurance should cover a visit to a nutritionist. They can help you tailor your diet to your individual needs, not what someone on the internet says you need. They can analyze factors like your meds, weight, how controlled your sugar is, activity, and other medical factors.

I agree with MMDad about contacting your insurance and meeting with a nutritionalist. When I was pregnant with my daughter I had gestational diabetes and I was closely monitored for the last 3 months of my pregnancy. I had a dietician calling me almost daily to see how I was doing.

Using the Diabetes Food Pyramid - Nutrition & Recipes - American Diabetes Association

is a good place to look at the diabetic food pyramid too.
