Weights

DH bought 35 pound dumbells tonight... OMG they feel so heavy He wants his muscles as big as they used to be.

Anyone have advice on a weight bench? What I should get? Thinking of getting one for a gift for him. He won't spend the money on himself. He used to workout all the time and had a 6 pack... now he has a 12 pack..

What type of bench do you want? What do you want to spend?

I'm sure u could get one from somd classifides for free or at least cheap. If he sticks with it spend the money on a nice one.

For a home gym, I'd say get something that's adjustable and can at least be used as both a flat bench and an incline bench (2-4 different incline settings would be ideal). I don't know if they make a bench that can be positioned in a flat or incline OR DECLINE position - but if they did, I'd get that one.

Yard sales for sure!
Benches are all over the place, they are usually the last things to be sold. You can get a real deal out there, just make sure it's in good shape.
Went to a yard sale last week who had all kinds of equipment plus two machines - they never sold them - still in the carport.

A stability ball works great for a bench too for fitness enthusiasts.
