Love, love Evolve Yoga in Wildwood. I try to go 3x week. There are mats there for $1 if you want to go try a class. First class is always free. I would recommend Gentle Yoga or Yoga Basics for a beginner.
Besides being in better shape I feel stronger, sleep better and am much less stressed out.
Never thought I'd be a yoga person but, Namaste!

I checked out their website, and I'm not sure. I will most likely try their facility, but I've seen others that don't seem as stringently "tranquil." It seems froo froo, and I'm somewhat afraid that I might laugh during the quiet time. That might sound silly, but it's not an environment (at least from the site) that I'm used to

I did NOT think I would like Yoga, but I really do. I was totally surprised how much I liked it.

Right now, I can't fit it into my schedule to go take it at the gym, so I am thinking of trying it at home.

World Gym in Mechanicsville, good classes, but limited number per week. They are included in the membership price.

I think I probably have some preconceived notions (probably false) that make me feel as though I'll be uncomfortable as far as the environment goes. I know a few people who do yoga that I would have never imagined doing so.

I'm going to try it.
