| oh how much I love my two black labs........ Yesterday me and the boyfriend come home from work to find out they while we were gone the dogs wanted to go outside during the day and decided to try and open the sliding glass door on their own. One or both I guess thought they could accomplish this by pawing at the frame on the side the door handle is on. Luckily it was double paned safety glass because when we get home the inner glass pane is cracked in a million pieces ready to shatter as it was continuing to crack while we were preparing to break it. Luckily the glass didnt break before we got there so the doggies were okay as it could have been alot worse. However we definitely werent planning on having to come home and finish shattering the door and going to buy a whole new door and frame. That is our fun for the night. Doggies have now bought themselves visits to the crates when we are gone Just thought I would share my eventful evening.......... |

| Why on earth would you leave 2 black labs in the house all day?!?! They need to be outside. Good thing they didn't break that glass, but it has to be a little funny now.

What a crazy night. We had a door crack like that...all those tiny pieces of glass.... Glad to hear both pups were ok!

Yeah it is funny now. Before I got Maddox, when I lived in Florida, I used to leave Tobey outside. First it was just in the backyard when I went to class. It was fenced in but then Tobey realized that if he dug out he could run up the street to the high school and everyone would play with him. After being picked up by the pound 4 times because the teachers refused to call the number written on his collar (twice i beat the driver back to the shelter) and over a thousand dollars later (free the first time, 150 to get him back the second, 300 the third and 600 the fourth, I got him one of those kennel things for outside. Not a fan of those either and he ended up ripping a few toe nails out clawing to get out. That is when he was moved indoors and I have just always kept him in since then. Yeah they got into stuff but never like last night. I always felt bad about crating them during the day but no more, especially the little one, Maddox. Hes a little over a year and a complete basketcase, Tobey has luckily grown out of alot of that since then. Either way lesson learned and the new set of doors definitely arent all glass, ha ha.

Good as a puppy can be...He's still learning his way around here....He only has one to roll around with...He's hard on Molly's 13YO body....You'd think they're trying to kill each other but they go right back for more....He is so loveable....I can see why people can't say no to them when they're that age....

Good as a puppy can be If it makes you fell better, he's one of the best puppies we had Trust me if Molly didn't want him to play she'd let him know and it's probably good for Molly (makes her young again) He is a Love Bug. How's your wife with him now that he's home? Did your sister ever get to come over and see him? I can see why people can't say no to them when they're that age.. Oh ya let me give a litter of 8 plus 3 big ones and see how quickly you say NO
