or you can have a dog obedience trainer come to your home like we are as our puppy is too young to be put in obedience classes(she's 11weeks old and can't be with other dogs as she just had her first boosters) long story short the breeder gave her shots before she was 8 weeks of age and the vet filling in for my vet while she was away didn't regive her the needed boosters since they were before 8 weeks of age.

If you want the name of the lady that comes to the house please send me a pm and I will give you her name and number.

positive reinformament with praise and treats.
I do use a choke collar, but if your dog has had throat problems then I do not.

Why do you need a choker collar if you use positive reinforcement? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of "positive" reinforcement?

Yep, it does.

There are different methods of training, cause each dog is different. They learn in different ways.
