Well, at least they're doing the right thing and trying to find a better home for the dog. Much better than just neglecting him or immediately dropping him off at a shelter where he may be put down.

I really wish people would think things through before getting a pet. I understand circumstances can change in people's lives but this poor dog is going to be taken from the only family he's ever known. The kids will probably be heartbroken. At least they're trying to find him a home instead of bringing him to a shelter to be caged up and possibly euthanized if not adopted out.

We are currently trying to get rid of our Saint Bernard "Beethoven" who we have had for two years now.

Anyone want to foster him?

And the part that says "would be good for breeding purposes"....just what we need more unwanted animals that noone has time for. I will look and see if there is a St. Bernie rescue around here.
