| Awww, poor puppy. The owner seems genuinely torn up about finding it a new home. I had to laugh at how it has it's own room. He looks like a sweetie.

| My sister has one of those monsters. Biggest wimp of a dog I have EVER met. It is terrified of me (just for the record, I have never been anything but loving towards this dog). If I am at the end of the table, standing between him and the door, he will go around the table the long way to go behind me to get to the door. He has always been this way with me, from the first time I met him. |

i never liked those contracts anyway. When i got my dog from the animal shelter they made me sign one, but i would have NEVER taken her back to that place if i had to give her up. what was the point of rescuing her if i was jsut going to return her to the pound? | |

now as far as returning.... I understand about not wanting to return to the shelter and there have been plenty of arguments about the contracts for rescues... BUT my contract says it comes back to me... why? so I'm positive it won't go back to the shelter or be at risk again, I'm commited to this animal the rest of it's life... BUT if you can't keep it and you have someone that wants it, so long as I can approve that it's a good home, I don't have an issue with that. I'm really hoping something good is happing to this other mastiff though.

| Krazd Kat, No offense, but I have tried to go through a shelter to get a dog for the last six month. So far no luck. Now I know most are volunteers but for the most part, they always take at least a week to get back in touch with you. There is also a high payment and contract that you have to go through it is ridiculous. I am still looking for a good dog that will fit my family. So I have no qualms about somebody posting to rehome their dog to a good home. |
