Calvert County Animal Ordinances PASSED!

As of March 25th 2008, the Calvert County Commissioners have passed new Animal Control Ordinances. I suggest every pet owner (and non-pet owner for that matter) to read these ordinances and become familiar with them. They are more descriptive on definitions, for example, defining what "shelter" is for a dog.

If you find anyone breaking any of these ordinances they can be fined by Animal Control.

The new ordinances can be seen at this website:

Thank you for your support! If you have time please email the commissioners and thank them for passing these new laws.
