| Thanks! She escaped in the subdivision of Spring Haven West on Rt 228, it backs up to a subdivision/some houses on Hamilton Rd. We searched a few streets yesterday, scoped out 2 wooded areas...no luck. Knocked on a couple doors and spread the word as well to some kids we saw in the neighborhood. My biggest fear is that her retractable leash is bound around some trees in the woods, she can't get loose and has no food/water...it worries me sick...She's been missing since early Tues morning...Keep your fingers crossed she turns up soon...Thanks for all of your help. ![]() |

| Well...I wasn't there, but my understanding is, the new owner went to switch hands using the retractable leash, accidentally dropped the leash on the ground, and the noise startled Sara, and she bolted...he couldn't catch her. |

| Any Luck? If you need an extra set of paws in on the search, I can go out looking with my GSD this afternoon

| Retractable leashes are not the best to use anytime. The force of one flying out of your hand could really hurt a dog. Please consider using regular leashes for all of your dogs. PSA for today. |

| Thanks! Just saw your post. People have been out all day today searching the woods and just got a call that she has been spotted. She no longer has the leash and collar on but ran when she saw them. Don't even think she looked long enough to recognize her foster mom and her dog. Now thinking a live trap may be our only chance. Anyone know where to get one tonight? Would hate to have to wait until Monday when Animal Control opens. She is about 30 pounds now.
