Missing Search and Rescue Dog in Prince Frederick?

Does anyone know whether the missing search and rescue puppy was found?? We have a flier here that was dropped off yesterday, and I was just wondering. I know it ran off after the person went through the Open House at State Police yesterday, and that they were supposed to be bringing in a special dog to look for it. I would really like an update. Thanks!!!

A friend of mine has been involved in the search- I do not believe they have found the 2nd dog.

They are still looking for Bena. The search and rescue teams have been out there day and night looking for her. She was spotted near the Industrial park in PF so they will be concentrating on that area today. She must be cold and scared and hungry.
Bella is home safe and sound.

I must have missed this. What type of dog is missing? Breed? And where?

thanks

Thank you. I'll keep the flier up and keep an eye out. My store backs up to the woods where she was last seen.

I believe they are both Cane Corsos; about 7 months old.

She's grey, wearing a training collar and leash. Her name is Bena. I think they said she was about 6 months old.

She was last seen, that I know of, heading into the woods between Main Street, Duke Street, Merrimac Court, and Old Field Lane, in that square.

Bella was found, Bena is still missing

Bella was located on Sunday afternoon in the area where the tracking dog from Baltimore located her scent. She is home safe and sound after over 24 hours. As of yesterday (Tuesday evening) Bena was seen in the Industrial Park on 231.
They are 7 month old Bull Mastiff's.

The search and rescue dog came down again on Monday evening to help with the search, absolutely amazing to watch that dog work!!!!!!!

I have photos but I do not know how to post them here???? Anyone?
thanks!

They were at the open house for the state trooper's on Saturday afternoon with the road shut down, an idiot driver drove down the closed road and ran into the Search & Rescue Trailor.

Their mom and dad greatly appreciate any and all help in bringing thier other baby home.
I am headed out this morning to help look for her, will keep you posted with updates.

When spotted, was her leash still attached? I'd be concerned she could get hung up in the woods or even strangled. What type of "training" collar was she wearing?

Good luck in finding her.

We also found 3 - three week old kittens Sunday evening, they are being fostered and will be looking for homes for them. (Their mother was run over on the side of the road).
They are absolutely adorable!
