Blind Doxie needs a home

There is a 5 year old Blind Doxie that needs a home. He has been neutered and tends to be aggressive toward other dogs. The lady who is fostering him said the Doxie goes after her pit bull, so she can't keep the Doxie long term.

Per the information we have the dog has his eyes - his blindness was from birth due to retinal detachment. Please help us find this sweet boy a good home.

Thanks.

Pictures !!!!!!!

We have pictures - see attached .......

here is a quote from the foster Mom about "Leroy":

"Leroy is aprox 5yrs old, born blind but has his eyes, he is neutered and up to date on his shots. he is aprox 18 to 20 lbs Leroy loves to snuggle, shy when he first meets people and seems a little confused but will worm up to you after a while.

He gets along with other dogs and cats if they are calm, he doesn't know how to play because he can't see. If there is alot of running and playing around him he gets confused and frightened so it would be best to keep things fairly calm around Leroy until he learns that he is safe. he is a very sweet little boy and loves to give kisses"

I wonder what he's mixed with? Beagle? His head is big.

I asked the foster about his head and she said it was the way she took the pictures - that his head really isn't THAT big LOL - she used her cell phone to take the pictures.

He IS a cutie - I really hope we find him a home. I'm glad the foster was able to rescue him so he has a chance at a better life.
