what is with...

all the ads on here for the yorkie puppies? It seems to be the same person [they've misspelled the same words] but in different locations. Must be some kind of scam?

A couple of them sound legit, but a lot of them are scammers. We try to remove them as we see them, so please report any that you think look suspicious so we can get rid of it.

Because we delete their ad and account and they register another one with a different throwaway email address, then post some more. It's so obvious they're a scam I don't know why anyone responds to them. No legit breeder is going to let a Yorkie go for $90 or $120, which seems to be the standard price they use.

But I have a question: do people purchase animals sight unseen? Because it seems to me that you'd want to meet the puppy (and the breeder) before you go wiring money to a stranger on the internet who doesn't even live in your area.
