| Taking your pet when you run errands Why do people do this? I'll take Apollo if I'm just going to run in somewhere quick - like the post office - but if I'm going to be in the store for more than a few minutes, I don't take him. He doesn't enjoy sitting in the car and I don't enjoy having him there. But you see all the time some dog locked in a car outside the Shoppers or Giant, and they're still there when I come back out. What is the purpose of this?

| ![]() ![]() I really dislike that also and another thing I HATE is to see people driving a truck with their dog or dogs in the bed of it. God forbid if you have to brake hard and fast the poor animal(s) go flying out of it. I know it is a truckers thing but come on, would you let your kid(s) ride there, no because it is illegal so the same should apply to animals. |

| I don't get it myself but our little tiny JRT mix loves to go to the dump. She looks rather ridiculous getting all excited - sitting up in the front of the truck - head looking forward - tongue hanging out – tail wagging – just to go to the dump.

| My dog used to love to ride in the car, didnt make any difference where, she just wanted to go. She could tell however, if I made the turn to the vets, she'd freak a little. The turn to the beach she would be barking and jumping, couldnt wait to get out and jump in the water. The same reaction when I went to my parents house or my daughters. She would stand with her two front legs on the console in the front seat and back legs on the back seat. Just staring out the windshield, she would turn her head and look at me once in a while like "are you watching where you're going" or she would give me a kiss as if to say "Thanks Mom". Sure do miss her. |
