| Charles county animal regulations The new Charles County Animal regulations are in effect now. You can NOT leave your dog tied outside 24/7 anymore. The max is 4 hours. Tickets and fines will come your way if you get caught. Also a chain link collar can not be used to tie out a dog. The county license for unspayed/unneutered dogs went from $15 to $25 per dog. Spayed/neutered dogs went from $2 to $5. Cats are also need a license. Same price as dogs. Please don't shoot the messenger- just passing along info from a reliable source.

| Does anyone know what are the consequences, for not being notified by the control board in a timely manner after a hearing as stated of 14 days? |

| sound great!!!! but there will have to be exceptions..... as for K9 officers are required to keep their dogs outside when not in service... they are in a kennel with housing. I could see a dog living outside... in a fenced in yard/kennel with a nice house. but not on a chain!

| I know a K9 officer that has his dog inside. I'm not sure if it's 24/7 but I know he's inside playing with the kids a lot. |

I am one who doesn't agree with leaving dogs outside 24/7 its not fair to the dog and plus who is going to spend a lot of time outside with them when it is either very hot out or very cold out. | |
