| What kind of dog is this? She was dumped! Does anyone know what kind of dog this is? Best I can tell she probably weighs about 40- 50 lbs (very muscular). She has a LOT of energy and loves people like crazy. She reminds me of Boxy the way she bounces up and down on her hind legs while reaching up to love on you. She likes to chew on toys a lot, so we suspect she may quite young. The picture of her from the side doesn't show her tail well (blurred) because she wags it so much LOL. She was introduced to a female dog and she seemed friendly toward her. No idea how she is with cats. The person fostering her said someone driving by (stretch of road across from a park with few homes) stopped their car and pushed her out. She obviously was nursing babies very recently. I will call the Humane Society to get a price for getting her spayed to be sure she doesn't have another litter. In addition to determining what her breed is, we also need to find her a home. The foster can only offer an outdoor situation with a large fenced pen and a dog house with straw, and Winter is here. She has very short hair and won't do well for long like this. She could go to another person who can foster her indoors? Or to someone maybe wanting to adopt her? Or to a rescue with space? I wish I had an indoor space for her but I don't. My guess is she is part chocolate lab?

| I don't see 'boxer' in her. She looks like a lab/pitt mix.

| yeah we are wondering the same thing about the puppies. I hope they didn't dump them somewhere else or kill them. She is very strong just like Boxy. it could be that she's not yet full grown? I'll be interested to hear the age estimate a vet has about her. If she got pregnant in her first heat, she could be still under a year old.

| She needs an indoor home so hopefully we can find someone to take her, even if just as a foster ..... My main function in life is to keep critters from going to the shelter, so I am sort of a re-homing assistant eh? She has a lot of energy, but she does settle down once the initial "hi how are you" greetings are done LOL
