Found Dog

Found dog on Baringer Dr. North Town Creek Manor.

Found this little guy outside our back fence this morning crying and shivering. From the looks of him he has been out for a while, covered with fleas and sores. So far he's had a bath and has been feed, is sleeping nicely in my laundry basket right now.

If he is your please call 301-xxx-xxxx, this is the best shot we could get of him right after we brought him in the house.

We are getting ready to take him to the vet to see if he is chipped.

I think that is the little one that lives down from me on Shady Mile....it's been escaping a lot more lately....not sure of the address, but the house is across the street from the guy that has the half a million blow up ornaments on his yard(house is off the road slightly and there should be a dark colored pick up in the driveway)

May want to check there before going to the Vet

Yea the dog was not in too good of shape when I picked him up, he was
soaking wet, shivering and nothing but skin and bones. Wrapped him in towels and put him in the tub to keep him away from our dog until they could get properly introduced.

He looked hunger so I gave him one of those Gaines Burger pouches which he wolfed down in a heart beat. Wife said he smelled like he rolled in his is own stuff so gave him a warm bath (that's when I noticed the fleas) then wrapped him in towels and put him in our laundry basket. Was getting ready to head to the vet with him to see if he was chipped but "Thing 2" said he thought it was one of our derelict neighbors dog so we took him over and their young girls said it was theirs so we returned him to them. I was not happy with the condition he was in but he is their dog so I had no right to keep him, besides, I don't have the money for a second dog.

That little dog is one of the most pitiful and precious creatures I have ever seen. You were very kind to him, and most likely saved his life. I know you will worry about him because it doesn't sound like he is well taken care of, but you did all you could. I have a feeling, if he escapes again, he will head straight back to your house.

Its so sad to have to return a dog to a home like that. Were they even looking for him I wonder.
