Found Dog

Found sweet black retriever male. Not chipped, was found running down the middle of Flat Iron Road. We need to find his home. Did I mention he is sweet? I am having to keep him in garage because of my psycho old male. But he loves little dogs and is not food agressive at all.

Yes I have. I have also notified animal control and the shelter. All Kinds Vet took all his info when they were scanning him and Shannon at Peppers Pet Pantry took all info and a picture to make a flyer for inside the store. Today we posted simple flyers on Flat Iron rd and Drayden Rd. Tomorrow I will call all the vets in local area.
I have to say when I called the shelter they were so very helpful, gave me two possibles to call and searched the database for lost dogs. I searched lostdogg.com and craigs list. :( If you have any other suggestions I would love to hear them!
This old guy needs to be with his family, he is such a sweetheart!

No I don't have any other suggestions. Sound's like you are covering all the bases for this fellow. Thank goodness for folks like you who try to help the sweet animals.

Awww... he looks like such a sweetheart. Hope he's reunited with his family soon. Its so nice of you to go to all these lengths to help him. Good Luck and if you cant find his family, I may know someone who might be interested in adopting him.

Oh no calls yet, this gentleman has finally started to get caught up on his sleep and is starting to get excited when he sees us. Someone has to be missing this polite guy. I have had offers for a home BUT I feel the need to give the owners a couple of days. Animal control called and offered to pick him up, I told them no thank you.
