Babysitting is not the same as parenting. And twins, no less.

Think about bundling up TWO infants and strapping them in a stroller...forget it, I'm trying to think of the logistics of walking a dog while pushing a double stroller and it's not coming to me.

If you have never cared for an infant full time, you have no idea what you're talking about.

I dont have twins, but I have one son....I have 3 dogs and 4 cats. :shurg: I know kids are a handful, but dogs dont really demand that much attention. When the kids are 5 and want a dog, I bet they will get one then, so why not just keep the pup so they grow up with a dog.

Why question her?
Help her instead.

That was totally uncalled for.
Life is tough, but kids come first.
I hope things work out with DR.

Why are people saying that dogs don't demand that much attention? I walk Apollo four times a day, about an hour or so total. I spend probably another hour or so playing with him throughout the day. When you have an infant, two hours a day of not-them time is not going to happen; now double that infant load and it's impossible.

Why is it when someone has to get rid of their dog, all the animal nutters want to pitch a fit? If she can no longer care for the dog, that's just the way it is. Why second-guess her and try to make her feel guilty when you don't know her situation?
