| Very nice story. It is amazing how our pets become like family. My doggie has been sick and was in the vet's office yesterday. My husband was so upset but it turned out it wasn't as serious as he thought - meaning she is being treated and is expected to make a full recovery. Our VD was spent taking care of her so she can get better. As a matter of fact, I'm up & on here because she needed to go out and is eating at the moment.

| Just lost one of the loves of my life in Jan., my Dobie. He was only 10.5 yr. old and in excellent health but came down w/bloat. When I read that posting it virtually said everything I could say about my boy... |

| So sorry to hear about your Dobie-Boy. I don't recall you ever posting about that. I've never had a dog die before the age of 17 years, until Molly, who was only 10 years and 6 months old. It was sudden, and it was horrible. Hugs to you. |

| Thanks for posting that wonderful story. It reminded me of my girl Nikki. After 18 years together, I had to have her put down one year ago this past November. Cried like a baby and still tear up when I think about her. Best dog I've ever had. Its amazing how much joy and love they bring to us and ask nothing in return but to be loved and an occasional chewy snack. Sorry you lost your friend but memories are great to fall back on. |
