Personally, I would drive your dog around your negihbor in the van so he/she can get use to it. Or, whenever you go to the post office, or somewhere where you wont be long, take the dog and let he/she get the feeling of the drive. My dog was very afraid of driving, however, we started to take him places every time we had the chance. Also, i would take the advice of everyone else, seeing that you probably dont have enough time to take on my method.

Car Sick

You can give your dog Dramamine. You just need to contact the vet on the amount for your sized dog. Ginger cookies is also an holistic way to go.
