| Collie mix in need of foster home Petey has been chained out his whole life. We estimate his age to be 6 - 8 years. He has a wonderful, unusually sweet temperment. Kim says that he has gotten very depressed in the shelter. He's been there a month with no takers. He will be euthanized if not rescued by this weekend because the shelter expects a lot of surrenders because of the holiday. Can anyone step up to foster Petey? We will pay for any vetting he needs...If so, please e-mail kimgeiger@happypawshappyhomes.org asap, as he is scheduled to be euthanized this week. Tammy |

Time is of the essence with this guy, they are trying their hardest to do something, but if you are an individual you may have to work with a local rescue to help you, they will want the name of the group and a vet reference. I corresponded with the email contact earlier and she is the one that gave me the above information. It would be great to save this guy, EIGHT years on a chain only to die after spending your last month in the shelter sucks...
