North Point’s varsity girls’ basketball team advances

The North Point High School varsity girls' basketball team is the 4A regional champion. The Eagles team advances to the state semi-finals and faces Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School of Prince George's County at 3 p.m., March 8, at the Retriever Activities Center Arena (RAC) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Tickets are available for purchase on the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSA) Web site at http://mpssaa.ticketleap.com/. Charles County Public Schools provides 26,700 students in grades prekindergarten through 12 with an academically challenging education.
