When my Brother and I were growing up, we would pull the runner out of the hallway, get a running start in our socks and slide down the hall into the linen closet on the hardwood floor. Dad would spray silicone; not the GG cup stuff; on the floor and Little Brother and I almost needed chutes to stop.
It p*ssed Mom off the next morning though; when she would walk down the hall in socks the next morning 1/2 asleep. <<thump thump> "D*MMIT! Did you spray that sh*t on the floor again?!!" "I almost broke my neck!"
That was the end of that bit of adolescent fun.
