| Calvert Co School Closing 2 hrs Early Today
Calvert County Public Schools has been in close contact with the National Weather Service, as well as other local weather sites. Due to the uncertainty of the pending weather event for this afternoon/evening, schools will be closing two hours early today, January 25, 2013 and all after-school and evening activities are cancelled. Afternoon Prekindergarten will be cancelled. Students in the morning Prekindergarten will not be taken home at the usual time. They will remain at school, be provided lunch, and go home with the students in Grades K – 5.
The forecast is calling for snow to start sometime after 2:00 p.m. and continue until late evening. Chance of precipitation is 90% with accumulating snow. Please continue to check the website for updates for the status of weekend activities.
