I would say that would lower the odds of school being closed due to weather. That is just a guess though.

And this is exactly why my son is praying for snow. He's not very happy about having to sit there and take the MSA this week.

Yea, my son is in the midst of MSAs also. He already has seen the forecast and is expecting school tomorrow. Of course, we're talking SMCPS here so rain and snow flurries just might close schools down.
