There's an election going on in CRE this month... but I don't think it qualifies for this forum... although it is turning very interesting...

I formed my own opinion on the forums when you were so woefully unprepared for your attempt to be a commisioiner was it? The hole emergency evacutation root and huricane preparedness..... well lets just say your focus was limited as was your grasp of the issues.

The people on the committees that you are speaking of wouldn't happen to be the rental owners that happen to be angry with me right now because I am preparing to make them pay their fair share now would they?

I didn't get on the committees to make friends. I want to make things work more cost effective and that makes the landlords and developers unhappy. They don't like that. Those that have been working with me for years and know what I have done for the community have asked me to run again. Those are the people I am working for. If I step on a few toes along the way... well let me ask you this... you know the old saying about the omelet?

What "fair share" is it the renters don't pay?

Amentities Fees for renters is $108. Gives them full use of all amentities in CRE...beaches, lakes, clubhouse functions, campground, etc.

Is that above and beyond the HOA fee the owner pays?

Right now no matter how many lots a member owns they only pay one M&O fee.

Under my plan... every Improved lot would pay an M&O fee.... this is really making the rental owners angry....

But if we put this in effect... then it would take some of the burden off of the single lot owner.

I have some other sources of income too... but I figured this is fair because these people are in a sense running a business in CRE.... and in this case it would be totally tax deductable for them.

It took me a year to convince them I could do it...

So if I own 3 houses in CRE I only have to pay the Ammeneties fee of $108 once and not per property?
