You need to be more specific about what kind of problems you seem to be having. I've attended many IEP meetings, all of which I initiated - it is your right on behalf of your child to have their IEP evaluated every 90 days, if necessary. You are your childs biggest advocate.

As for your "short bus" comment. May you never have the burden of caring for, and loving, a disabled child. If that same child was waving to you from the "short bus" as a parent, friend or relative, you'd understand why your "short bus" comment is pathetic.

Wow - isn't that the truth.

These children don't ask for the situations they are dealt in life. I'm far from subscribing to political correctness and restricting people's freedom of expression. But if people thought before they shot off their mouths, maybe they would realize the carelessness of their comments.

Thanks for the info. I really don't want to say if I have, or haven't, because I'm trying to work through the system and I don't want it to impact my family negatively. I will say that I have gone almost to the top.
