For you the truth is that in 4 months inspectors were allowed to comb every inch of Iraq. Any clue as to how large Iraq is and that during that time Iraq failed to fully comply with UN 1441. Iraq was required to be in full compliance with 1441 and declare fully their weapons programs by December 8, 2002. They failed to do so. You might want to read UN 1441 - UN Security Council Resolution 1441

Then read this, Update 27 January 2003 , presented by Hans Blix and while there was some cooperation it is obvious that Iraq played the "see what you can find" game and did not cooperate as they had been directed to do.

I guess you would have been satisfied to leave Hussein alone for another 12 years continuing with his game of thumbing his nose at the world, shooting at our aircraft, and building a weapons program to a level you would have been proud of.

My responses are consistent with one another so there is no making up my mind. The WMD aspect was important but not the only reason Congress authorized the use of force. Next I guess you will say that there have never been terrorists in Iraq nor did they provide support to terrorist groups.

Have any of the alleged lies been verified with factual information? I think not or the President would have been impeached. The fact that you and many liked-mided folk think the war is unjust does not make it so nor does it mean that lies got us there in the first place.

And if you knew anything about Gulf War I you would know that the objectives of that conflict were met until Iraq failed to fully comply with the agreement made to bring the war to a halt. Do you know what the mandated objectives of that conflict were?
