It seems as though you don't think he deserves this type of security. As the article said, there have been 4 Presidential assasinations in US history and they are there to prevent another one. That's why the secrect service was tasked to protect the president after McKinley's assasination. Prior to that, the secret service were tracking forgerers and klansmen. So let them do there job. The neighbors aren't complaining. So long as they are there, any crime within a 3 -5 mile radius will be reduced to non existence.

I said......Now here is the real funny part.....anyone that wants to visit in Obama's neighborhood or home has to sign up in advance 24 hours for a security check....that one just kills me......

I said nothing about not agreeing with the extra security for a sniper.....I find it funny that they are running security checks on people in the neighborhood where he lived and he actually was in the house of terrorists that lived up the street from him......the irony kills me.......

Right. The irony of it all is that the likes of Ayers & Dohrn are now entitled to be "protected" from the [American] people they bombed in the 60's. Dohrn was on the FBI "10 Most Wanted List". Will she be allowed to visit the White House now?

The security check is very common for many politician's neighborhoods and many buildings that are in close proximity to high profile people in the Government. The same security check was enforced in McCain's neighborhood during the race and is still going on now. This same practice is in progress for all former Presidents and former high ranking officials.

Before you speak, get all your facts together.

Wonder why you didn't attempt to even name specific names vs. everything in general. There are one on one ties with Obama and the bad company he has kept.

Your version is a little misleading.

The associations you mention are relations with our country not a specific leader.

Of course if you throw the last 3 out (not sure what president elect or president for that matter was known to associate with them) all the other relations were at some point good for America... Yes down the road they were not in our best interest but you cannot honestly compare them to the associations that this thread references to Obama.

Thanks to Bill Ayers, the definition of "terrorist" has been rewritten to exclude blowing stuff up and the general intimidation with violence. You wouldn't be working under another definition, would you?

Obama is also 1/2 white! He only "chooses" to consider his race to be black. That's what kills me about everyone saying that this is such a historical event. He is NOT the first "black " president elected for office. He is the first "bi racial" president elected.
