Don't forget about all the other associations that the former leaders of this country had in the past:

Foriegn:

Osama Bin Laden - was on the CIA payroll during the Russian / Afghan War

Sadam Hussein - Former ally of the US during the Iran - Iraq War

Iran - Before the Islamic takeover, Iran was an ally that we sold / gave weapons to.

Saudia Arabia - We let them sponsor terrorism against us because of the oil

Domestic:

KKK - Been around since the civil war causing hate and discontent

Neo Nazis (Skinheads)

True but our PRESIDENTS WERE NOT EATING DINNER IN THE TERRORISTS HOME...........or taking money for their campaigns or sitting in their churches for 20 years or ....oh forget it, the list is just too damn long to keep typing.....

Now here is the real funny part.....anyone that wants to visit in Obama's neighborhood or home has to sign up in advance 24 hours for a security check....that one just kills me......

Of course they don't go themselves, they send their flunkies (see attachment). I wonder why you stop naming names... Those are all the names you heard on the news.

The security check is very common for many politician's neighborhoods and many buildings that are in close proximity to high profile people in the Government. The same security check was enforced in McCain's neighborhood during the race and is still going on now. This same practice is in progress for all former Presidents and former high ranking officials.

Before you speak, get all your facts together.

Remember that his election is an historic event and they are protecting him from the home grown terrorists who believe that anyone who are not like them should be eliminated. He and his family deserves this security. I would do the same for McCain.

It seems as though you don't think he deserves this type of security. As the article said, there have been 4 Presidential assasinations in US history and they are there to prevent another one. That's why the secrect service was tasked to protect the president after McKinley's assasination. Prior to that, the secret service were tracking forgerers and klansmen. So let them do there job. The neighbors aren't complaining. So long as they are there, any crime within a 3 -5 mile radius will be reduced to non existence.
