| Re: Larry Jarboe for St. Mary's County Commissioner Quote:
You are talking about property rights, but isn't Larry Jarboe in favor of 1 in 20 zoning, which would require you to have 20 acres to build a home in St. Mary's? Unless you're in a planned development with water and sewer, Larry would want you to have 20 acres to build your home. With 1 in 5, our true ratio of buildable land is close to 1 in 20 using Aleck Lokers' numbers. This one issue, for me, is enough of a reason to vote against Larry. I don't think we need the land grabbing regulators elected to office. I think Larry's support of 1:20 was a tactical error, and on Tuesday, we'll find out. | |

| Larry Jarboe is far from the right person for the job. The attacks that he has run against Mrs. Guazzo are so cruel and false that I cannot believe that someone could construe him as a man of integrity. Both you Mr. Brugman and your candidate for the 2nd District were members of a board that could never get anything accomplished. Do not tell me otherwise; the fact that none of you were reelected speaks volumes of the inability of that board to act positively. Mrs. Guazzo is a nice woman and she has great common sense that has allowed this county to move forward. Two things in life are certain: death and taxes. I'm sorry but your gonna have to pay higher taxes every year. Why is it such a burden? What is another $20? The board that Mr. Jarboe also raised taxes. Once someone gets in office, sees the demands of the various departments, and sees the revenue, they will have to make a decision. Should we cut the taxes and tell the children of our county that the school system does not need to be funded? Or maybe the sherriff's department should be cut. Vote Shelby Guazzo in the primary. |

![]() Nodnarb, next time I see you I'm going to ask to see your voter registration card At the rate I'm going, you have a good two years to change that "D" to an "L" or "R".Or, better yet, how about an "I"? The only reason I haven't gone "I" is because of the primaries.

| Vraiblonde, What is the logic of a Democrat endorsing an incumbent Republican candidate in a primary election? Do they want Guazzo going up against Brooks in the general election because they know Jarboe would kick his butt?
