Mikulski/Pipkin Senate debate tonight @ 7pm

Maryland voters can see candidates for the U.S. Senate address the issues when Maryland Public Television (MPT) hosts a live debate on Monday, October 18, at 7 p.m.

The Democratic nominee, incumbent Senator Barbara A. Mikulski, and the Republican nominee, State Senator E.J. Pipkin, have agreed to participate. The debate will also include any other candidates who demonstrate viability by showing 15 percent support or more in a recognized independent statewide poll.

Each candidate will make an opening statement. Following opening statements, candidates will respond to questions from by a panel of journalists. Each candidate will also have an opportunity for a closing statement. Jeff Salkin moderates.
