Local election info?

Anybody know where to find information on the local elections? (judges, Board of Ed.)

The best I could find is that St. Mary's Today Online Edition is having an "online debate" with the candidates for Board of Education. That was useful since one of the candidates had spelling mistakes in their response...

Obviously, I'm interested in St. Mary's county stuff, but I'm sure others can benefit from local info from other counties too.

Thanks Ken, but I got the ballot in the mail the other day. What I'm looking for is information about the candidates.

Considering the only challenged races are for the Board of Education races, I take it that you are looking for information on them specifically?

Ms. Whitbeck has posted on here before and you might get an idea about her from that, she used to have a website but I am not sure if it is still out there or current. As for Ms. Woodburn I think it will suffice to say that I wouldn’t elect her to anything for any reason and let it go at that. I know nothing about Cathy Allen or Gary Kessler, but that is who I will vote for based on the choices given.

After reading the responses to the questions on the St. Mary's Today website, I have to say that Claire Whitbeck is an idiot. The only thing she had to say was "It's about the children" or variations thereof. I plan to vote for Kessler and Allen.

Whitbeck is also the one with typos in her responses. I'm also thinking Kessler and Allen.

There is also the continuance in office for Judge Murphy. Anybody know about him?

Why would I scream conspiracy? You put the best at the bottom and give the citizen's a reason to look through the list. If you put the Democrats first, nobody would even notice the Republican's candidates.
