I have actually no control over what Gott contracted.... I wish I did... I wanted a Stand Alone Safeway... and if there had to be a parkway I wanted it to go through the middle fo the property the way it was drawn...

I am working to keep Lusby from growing into a big parking lot.... I hate the way things look... it is definitely not what we were sold....

Maybe you need to ask the States Attorney how the Gott property got doubled in size. It seems the Ethics Commission did their job and now its up to the courts.

It's my understanding that Jaklitch is bringing suit against the Ethics Commission. Character assassination? I don't believe any payoffs, bribes or anything of that sort ever occured, just that County officials are afraid of John Gott. The entire County government ignored every shady move that Gott made. If it wasn't for Art Carson, this would be Gott County, 20657.

Actually...the current BOCC should have been leveling with us as well... their actions, or lack of action, should be contemplated as well...Guilt By Ommission... don't you think?

Why didn't any of the Commissioners [both this board and the previous board] speak up and say "This is just dead wrong and we have to do something to straighten this mess out!"?

Offering to keep Food Lion closed until the Roads were right was Standard Operating Procedure.... and we don't have a deed ...to the park like green space we were sold in the first place... yet...

Both the BOCC and staff should have been forthcoming with the problems they were running into.... these are the people who did not follow up.

We should remember, however, that our county employees work at the pleasure of the Board. All County Staff should have been told to level with us. Ultimately... County Staff cannot act without Board approval.

Every now and then I go back and check the links in my website. The last time I did this was right after Gott [oops the company Gott hired] was digging a hole. The explanation I got at first was that this was a stormwater retention pond... I asked if it was in the park... then I told them I thought it might be according to the July presentation...

Then they told me that Gott [oops the company Gott hired] was swapping soil??????

It was right about then that I clicked on the picture of a newspaper....

My computer started spitting all kind of error messages and threw me right out of my own website and clear out of my internet connection!

When I signed back on... I went back to my website and clicked on the picture again.... It did the same thing...

Then I wrote about it and put in another link... since then it has only happened once again....

Hhhhhhmmmmm.....

Is there someone out there who doesn't like the fact I have that particular link caught for all to see?

Check out page 10 of 27 This is where you will see the county's explanation for the shifting of Lusby Parkway.

Also... if you go to that page you'll see 4 traffic circles and only one traffic circle after the shift.... That would save the State about $3 million.
