And it states that Calvert County Memorial Hospital has increased 6 percent last year alone to 34,000 ER patients now in 2006. So our greed driven growth is overflowing to Calvert County but at a lesser pace.

# 2, Also see Enterprise page A-4 (May 5, 2006) the St. Mary's County Board of Education is meeting to award contracts for our over crowded schools by planning new "relocatable" trailers for;
Leonardtown High School,
Leonardtown Middle School,
Leonardtown Elementary School,
Lexington Park Elementary school,
and all these NEW relocatable trailers that are being added to the 84 relocatable trailers that we already have is to put our County school students into because the school houses are now over loaded already.
Plus remember that two (2) relocatable trailers have already burned down in 29B.

So as I have said here before, the excessive growth coming into our area is destructive to our entire infrastructure and we need to stop it now while we still can by voting the greed driven oligarchy out and when I get elected to 29B then I will stop it, flat out freeze the greed.

The newspaper does make so that one does not need to just believe me as the proof is right there in the Enterprise for all to see. We now have a great Hospital and excellant schools but the excessive growth is over loading and degrading our best and it is being sencelessly done out of servitude to the reckless greed and I will put a stop to it.
Leonardtown Elementary school is going to be in trailers next year because they are expandng and remodelin gthe school.

The ER is overcrowded because people go to the ER for a sore throat and other routine medical problems instead of their doctor.

You quoted a small part of the article and took it out of context. That's a very dishonest thing to do. You fit right in as a Democrat.

The trend is occurring everywhere, DeClark said. ‘‘We have a situation in just about every geographic area,” he said. Some patients end up in the emergency room because they don’t have primary doctors.

‘‘They seek emergency treatment for very minor situations sometimes, so they can at least be seen by a professional,”

I don't believe anyone will be able to stop growth in that area now. The snowball has gotten too large. Maybe 8 yrs ago. But not now.

So what do you intend to do about the overcrowded hospitals?

JPC.....Just how are would a Delegate stop growth in a County?

Oh... and before you attach the Navy again....It seems to me that base closures are handled on a Federal Level.

It did need to be done years ago and now I do think it will be very difficult for me to stop the growth too, a lot of hard work it will be, but otherwise the other candidates and especially our care nothing Delegate now in 29B sure are not going to stop the greed growth at all. They will not even try. So it would be easier if other political leaders would start defending and protecting our infrastructure but as of today it is only me and yes it will be hard to do but from 29B I can put a dead stop to the growth and it would be my pleasure to do so.

Stop the over crowding coming from Pax Navy Base and the Hospital and schools and the rest of the area's infrastructure will soon feel the relief. Simple cause and effect.

The growth now in our area is all orchestrated by our reckless political leaders and none of them as even Hoyer or Mikulski could keep bringing in this excessive growth without having their puppet in 29B giving his passive concent. I will stand against the greed and it will not come over top of me in 29B like it does with their puppet and if need be then I can use the Courts (both State and Federal) to issue an Injunction to stop the growth because no one has any right to force our County school students into the fire box trailers except that our present leaders fail to defend and protect our community. The same is true of overloading our housing and bringing in crime and over loading the water and sewer systems. St. Mary's County is not an occupied territory where the military can crush our home at their convinience and I will put a dead stop to it. That might take a little time but it will start out hard on election day.

I am not saying to close the Navy Base. I am saying that we have a right and we have the power to demand that the Navy Base start acting like a respectful guest in our home and to stop the overload. We are not one of their occupied territories. Except for the fact that the Delegate now in 29B has surrendered up our home to the greed, and I will not.

No, I am not saying anything like that. The overcrowding will only make the Hospital slower and less friendly but we still have to go there whenever necessary.

We have already made enough sacrifices in service to our greed driven growth and it is time that we put a stop to it. If the public were to stop or slow down going to the Hospital then we would be enabling our abusers and instead of being an enabler we must stand up against the oppressors and take control away from the political oligarch.

We as citizens have the right to do it - to demand the stop of the overload, and we do have the power to do it, and the opportunity and ability to do it is given freely in this coming 2006 election.

Let me start by telling you about where I live.
When I bought my house and property here back in 86, the maximum number of cars that passed my house on a saturday was maybe around 15 to 20.
I had no problem getting out of my driveway in the mornings at all due to the fact that there just was no traffic. The closest intersection had a 4 way stop sign, and that was no problem.

now with the building of the McMansions on every farm acre available, saturdays the load is nonstop, I have to sit at my driveway in the morning for up to 5 minutes at times to get out. that 4 way stop is now a light and it backs up almost a mile at times.
I hate what has happened, so in a sense I do agree that there has to be a point where those that live in an area deserve some say in what is going on in that area.

on the other hand.

that navy base brings in much needed jobs, it keeps the economy of the county flowing even when the rest of the country is hurting. It feed thousands of small business ventures with customers. it adds to the economy.
Now lets look at the land that is built up for new homes and what not, do the current owners of that land have a right to sell it for the highest profit margin that they can get? or should they be limited by the rest of the community?
If you owned a farm of 100 acres, and you could sell it to another farmer for 500k, but you were offered 1.5 million for it from a developer, do you have a right to sell to the developer and make the extra million?

its a two way street, there is no way to do what you want without hurting some people. There is no way to continue the current trend without hurting some people.
Who has greater rights?
