Why won't the current location work?? The infrastructure is already there.. there is already four lanes of traffic leading to it, all we need is another span. VERY little loss of existing Real Estate.. people are already use to the eyesore there, and there will be no disruption of traffic while they build it.

Yeah, why won't it work?
The only improvement needed to the infrastructre would be making it 4 lanes from the bridge to the 235 light.

Seems like the obvious choice to me....

Oh... and back on Lusby... I had to go to the transfer station this morning... pulling out of there is really close if you don't want to go over a yellow line! Also... There's only one lane and no shoulder from Appeal Lane to the transfer station... ya' gotta love progress....

This "Sprawl" going on around Lusby really $ucks anyways. I still don't understand why we needed another Food Lion less than five miles from the one in Solomons.

If we are not careful, this area is going to be like the Rt. 5 - 301 interchange in Waldorf.

Oh, and why wont they fund another span for the Patuxent at Solomons? What? Too much money being spent on strip malls?

The bridge span is a State funded item.... Mikulski and Dyson are pleading with the Erhlich.... "County has nothing to do with it".... I would lobby for it constantly... Bobby Swann use to be blatant about lobbying for the span....

I just don't see it happening in the next 10 years... I go over that span every day.... sometimes it's just beautiful [and scenic]... other days it's a real battle.... Waste of gas.... sit... sit... sit...

I can only imagine what would happen in a disaster....

By the way... That Food Lion was originally supposed to be a Safeway...
