Well I do know that I am the underdog against the status quo and that Bohanan and his rich oligarch buddies have the election bought and paid for, so I am not stupid about my own position.

But St. Mary's County is my home town and I am not going to sit quiet while our home is sold out to big business and our home is overrun by the greed driven growth.

My place is to give testimony against them like one voice telling the high and the mighty that he and they are wrong and it is now exposed.

Plus the election is still on and so is the campaign and I am expecting a surprise to come along and thus change the status quo.

JPC, dead before the first shot was fired.

I hate it when you get denegraded.

When the League of Women Voters invites you to a LWV forum... Do you plan to leave this child support issue open for them to question you about?

Do you plan to get a lot of votes from non-custodial parents?

How sudious you are. Breaking laws is usually not wise; you usually just make yourself come across as a jackass. I can actually agree with you that, if you feel a law is flawed, that you work to change it or support someone that will. (But, more on that below...)

I can not imagine that the majority of U.S. citizens follow laws because they enjoy following some "master". We follow laws because they are recognized as a time-tested component necessary to sustaining order, which have been enacted after much debate and rational thought. As opposed to the doof that has a temper tantrum and runs around impulsively vandalizing government buildings because he feels "oppressed" and/or "abused".

Oh, and I would be fascinated to know how common STOP SIGNS have oppressed you.

(From above...) This reads fine, but it will never apply to you... because you will never be a lawmaker. The candidate must actually represent their constituency, but you are so far out on your own limb that you may as well begin writing your concession speech now.

Of course I am open to child support questions. It is one of my two platform issues. It is going to be part of my speach. I have already communicated with some of the League of Women Voters and the Forum date of August 31, might be changed to another day because of schedualing problems, but the Forum allows for question to be given to any candidate and I like questions.

I do not have any idea whom shall or shall not vote for me or against me and I am not seeking out voting groups. I see it as a question of voting for justice and against injustice and not about who has custody.

Aww... the first reasonably positive statement JPC has received on this forum.

But are the rest of us not wished a happy weekend?

I'm in the midst of a normal 2. And I'll work on the holiday. And then you have some folks who have every day off.
