Stop the child support from demanding fixed set amounts and start using percentages as the law instructs but the Courts refuse to do.

When I talk about reforming child support then it will stop dividing families and stop degrading the separated parent as is done now and bring in some justice to the system.

Once more asshat. The law does not require a set percentage to be paid for child support. The state will garnish wages at a fixed percentage once a parent has fallen into arrears. What part of the truth don't you understand?

Maryland used to have the guidelines set at a fixed percentage, at one time it was 12.5% per child of the gross wages for the non-custodial (before withholdings). The new system is very equitable to that but I doubt if you could figure that out given your limited intellect or experience as you ran off when you were tasked to pay.

Why don't you talk about something you know about, like maybe the square footage a can of spray paint will cover?

The mother in question was the one who told my son about the CS. I NEVER mentioned it to him, not when i paid it, and not when she didn't. SHE told him i was trying to force her to get a real job- she worked under the table so she could hide her income.

I am sure it was similar in your instance, the slacker deadbeats who don't pay childsupport are generally selfish enough to lay a guilt trip on their own children rather than meet their childrens needs.

Just like you- laying around collecting SS was more important than making sure your kid had new clothes at the beginning of the school year, or had decent medical care.

I paid more than that while i was going to school full time. I didn't have a lot of extra cash for me as a result, but my kid got what he needed.

Me and KK have been through this before but for any others note that I am giving the State and Federal links to back up what I said and KK knows this info but he disclaims it anyway here again and again.

First here is the USA Federal Consumer Credit Protection Act for Child Support Garnishments, and specifically note that it requires ONLY PERCENTAGES,

Last is the State of Maryland Child Support instructions and it requires only set fixed amounts which violate the above guidelines, and these are not for arrears cases only as KK claims in his quoted post above, link here at,
