I like that report. That is why I call them an oligarchy in that the other politicians all know that without the sell out Bohanan that fails to defend the community and fails to protect our infrastructure, then their own positions and their own prosperity will be put into jeopardy.

Did you note that it does not say that voters were there. Sure the other politicians were there and probably Bohanan's Navy buddies and his Navy Contractor buddies that gave him his big re-election money but where were the voters?

I think election 2006 is going to give the status-quo a surprise.

That is so true. I have been trying to say the same thing. I guess some posters are so afraid of the Navy that they fear that standing up to the problem will run the Base out of town.

I am not afraid of the Navy or of Pax NAS and my demanding that it stop dumping its overload crap onto our home town is not asking too much and as B'D said, the Navy is not going anywhere. Start having faith and put away thy fear.

You couldn't run them out... but you could definitely cause them to move elsewhere.... why should they continue to put money into a tax base when they aren't wanted...

The Base is not here to put money into our tax base and even that is being done lousy. The Pax NAS is here because the military needs it here and that is fine by me but the excessive growth is not needed and that must stop.

Look at the link on the first post and that is who I blame it all on. The political policies by our area's politicians that fail in their true job of protecting our community and defending our infrastructure. That is who I blame it all on and especially on Bohanan in 29b that has sold us all out.
