Okay, this is truly not a 'scandal' thread. I saw this letter to The Recorder's editor and have not seen it posted here yet...

Someone left me red karma and said I should shave my head and go bald. They said I'm ugly anyway. I figure some people just have a wierd sense of humor....

I hope this is more than an attempt. I have been active in the community for 8 years.

I worked to get a light installed in front of the elementary school before a fatality occured. I worked on the traffic flow around the Lusby Town Center. It's still not right so I will have to continue working on it no matter how the primary and general turn out. I'm working on getting the original green family friendly center they sold us. I'm working on getting the infrastructure needs of the communities straightened out without taking money from the rest of the county.

I was glad to see the article. I'm waiting for the Friday paper to see what's new....

You are right. Maybe I should have spoken with McKay or Raley.

I just wish they would use some imagination and get this situation straightened out without putting it on the backs of the citizens of St. Mary's.

Speaking of issues in St. Mary's... Why isn't there some sort of traffic control [even a blinking yellow] at the intersection where the fire trucks come out onto Chancellor's Run just above the Sheetz. Someone's going to get killed in that intersection!

Yeah, maybe you should have. You lost any support I would have given you with my friends in Calvert. Sorry bout that. I think you should give both of them a call and see what is really going on. Do I want my tax dollars supporting a non-profit that pays $1 a year for rent when the County could use the space for County offices? I don't think so.

There is traffic control there. Have you ever been there when the trucks are coming out? There's traffic control all the way. Granted, it's messed up, but there is.

If you live in Calvert, why are you so worried about St. Mary's County? I just don't get it.
