Oh, and an FYI for 2A...

Constitution Party
Jim Gilchrist, born 1949, founder of the Minuteman Project. He is considering a run for president, and has indicated that he will definitely run if Arizona Senator John McCain enters the race for president.
If McCain gets the nod, I predict a rise in the popularity of the Constitution Party

The Constitution Party is very conservative, believes in the fundamentals of conservative politics. Their popularity is rising, espically with old fashioned conservatives.

I've put a little money here and there into the Constitution Party. They were brought to my attention by an old fashioned Reagan like conservatives as "The new Republican Party" and this very well could be that third party that rises in 2008.

Alan Keyes

Is also a heavyweight for the Constitution Party. Not alot of Americans know him, he's most famous for running for President in 2000 and running against Barack in 2004 (If anyone remembers, there was a huge scandal that brought down a prominent opponent to Barack being really the only reason he was re-elected).

Alan Keyes was also the host of a short lived MSNBC television program "Alan Keyes is Making Sense." Thenagain just about every MSNBC program is short-lived.

My former BIL is a bigwig in the Libertarian party and I've been considering them. Depending on who gets the nod for 2008, it doesn't really matter if we get a Democrat or a Republican, so might as well vote *for* someone rather than *against* them.

A friend of mine's brother was a Libertarian candidate for governor in a neighboring state a few years ago. Although I like some of the platform of the party, he is quite frankly a nut. I think his number one issue was legalizing marijuana.

Yeah, I kinda like the Libertarian position, but there does tend to be a bit of looniness to some of the people...
